Prioritization
- Under-represented people will be prioritized.
- But more importantly, Quake 3 Arena or OpenTTD players will be prioritized.
- To improve team’s communication skills, Korean/Chinese langauge speakers are preferred.
VISA Sponsorship
- Usually difficult, takes months and costly for us
- If you know Japanese at least N4 level, and willing to learn more, VISA sponsorship for Japan could be considered.
Requirements
- JLPT N4 level Japanese for non-native speakers
- Using Linux in some way almost every day (server, laptop, doesn’t matter)
- Basic shell knowledge
- Familiarity with git
- Programming skills in some of the following languages; POSIX Shell or Bash, C, Javascript(Node.js), Python, Golang, Rust, Kotlin, Objective-C
- Proper email usage and manners
- At least 2 years of working experience (in any field)

Extra Skills / Knowledge
- JLPT N3 level Japanese (enough to speak stuff, even though it’s not perfect)
- But native Japanese with little English knowledge is preferred.
- Virtualization (qemu/kvm/libvirt)
- Software Defined replacements of technologies (storage, network, etc.)
- Knowledge of new-school fancy Linux technologies (containers and shit)
- Network knowledge, to a degree (to fix our MTU problems)
- Electronics knowledge (hobby level)
- 10+ years internet user
- Can play Quake 3 Arena (doesn’t have to be good)
- Political stance of Free (as in freedom) software/hardware, GNU, GPL
- Playful/hacker mindset
